STANDING ORDER
To
All Press Registrars,
Subject: The exhibition of films by exhibitors under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 (Andhra Pradesh Act 4 of 1955), the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the exhibition of films by exhibitors.
2. The matter has been examined. Every exhibitor carrying on the exhibition of films shall make an application in Form VII to the Press Registrar within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. The Press Registrar shall ensure that title is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Press Registrar within fifteen days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
