OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The use of water by users of water under the Andhra Pradesh Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the use of water by users of water is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002.

2. The matter has been examined. Every user of water carrying on the use of water shall make an application in Form G to the Ground Water Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of water is undertaken, and the Ground Water Authority shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
