STANDING ORDER

To

All Treasury Officers,

Subject: The sale of property by auction by auctioneers under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999 (Rajasthan Act 14 of 1999), the General Administration Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sale of property by auction by auctioneers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every auctioneer carrying on the sale of property by auction shall make an application in Form B to the State Government within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. The Treasury Officer shall ensure that franking impression is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Government within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Rajasthan.
