STANDING ORDER
To
All Executive Engineers,
Subject: The discharge of effluent into a stream by person discharging effluent into a streams under the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954 (Rajasthan Act 21 of 1954), the Labour Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the discharge of effluent into a stream by person discharging effluent into a streams.
2. The matter has been examined. Every person discharging effluent into a stream carrying on the discharge of effluent into a stream shall make an application in Form G to the Tribunal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.
3. The Executive Engineer shall ensure that works is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Tribunal within sixty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Rajasthan.
