STANDING ORDER

To

All Anganwadi Supervisors,

Subject: The placement of domestic workers by placement agencies under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988 (Andhra Pradesh Act 10 of 1988), the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the placement of domestic workers by placement agencies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every placement agency carrying on the placement of domestic workers shall make an application in Form VII to the Local Complaints Committee within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Anganwadi Supervisor shall ensure that institution is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Local Complaints Committee within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
