OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a child care institution by child care institutions under the Goa Children's Act, 2003, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Tourism Department, Government of Goa on the manner in which the running of a child care institution by child care institutions is to be regulated under the Goa Children's Act, 2003.

2. The matter has been examined. Every child care institution carrying on the running of a child care institution shall make an application in Form V to the Committee within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a child care institution is undertaken, and the Committee shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Goa.
