OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The running of an old age home by keepers of an old age home under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the General Administration Department, Government of Uttarakhand on the manner in which the running of an old age home by keepers of an old age home is to be regulated under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024.
2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of an old age home carrying on the running of an old age home shall make an application in Form VIII to the Maintenance Tribunal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of an old age home is undertaken, and the Maintenance Tribunal shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
