STANDING ORDER

To

All Inspectors of Stamps,

Subject: The issue of share certificates by company issuing shares under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999 (Rajasthan Act 14 of 1999), the General Administration Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the issue of share certificates by company issuing shares.

2. The matter has been examined. Every company issuing shares carrying on the issue of share certificates shall make an application in Form D to the Stamp Revenue Board within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Inspector of Stamps shall ensure that allowance is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Stamp Revenue Board within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Rajasthan.
