OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a swimming pool by operators of a swimming pool under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Telangana on the manner in which the running of a swimming pool by operators of a swimming pool is to be regulated under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a swimming pool carrying on the running of a swimming pool shall make an application in Form H to the Sports Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a swimming pool is undertaken, and the Sports Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Telangana.
