STANDING ORDER

All Directors,

Subject: The offering of online games by online gaming operators under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Revenue Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the offering of online games by online gaming operators.

2. The matter has been examined. Every online gaming operator carrying on the offering of online games shall make an application in Form C to the Sports Authority within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Director shall ensure that certificate of recognition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Sports Authority within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Telangana.
