OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information Technology Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959.

2. The matter has been examined. Every collector of donations carrying on the collection of donations for a charity shall make an application in Form F to the Registrar of Societies within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of donations for a charity is undertaken, and the Registrar of Societies shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Rajasthan.
