STANDING ORDER
To
All Deputies Director General of Foreign Trade,
Subject: The export of services by exporters of services under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002 (Karnataka Act 45 of 2002), the Ports Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the export of services by exporters of services.
2. The matter has been examined. Every exporter of services carrying on the export of services shall make an application in Form ANF-2A to the Government of Karnataka within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. The Deputy Director General of Foreign Trade shall ensure that importer-exporter code is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Karnataka within sixty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Karnataka.
