OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The business of a co-operative society by co-operative societies under the Karnataka Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation and Development) Act, 1966, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the business of a co-operative society by co-operative societies is to be regulated under the Karnataka Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation and Development) Act, 1966.

2. The matter has been examined. Every co-operative society carrying on the business of a co-operative society shall make an application in Form F to the Registrar within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a co-operative society is undertaken, and the Registrar shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Karnataka.
