OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a swimming pool by operators of a swimming pool under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Goa on the manner in which the running of a swimming pool by operators of a swimming pool is to be regulated under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a swimming pool carrying on the running of a swimming pool shall make an application in Form C to the Agency within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a swimming pool is undertaken, and the Agency shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Goa.
