OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The receipt of public funds by privates body funded by a public authority under the Kerala State Right to Service Act, 2012, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Law Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the receipt of public funds by privates body funded by a public authority is to be regulated under the Kerala State Right to Service Act, 2012.

2. The matter has been examined. Every private body funded by a public authority carrying on the receipt of public funds shall make an application in Form C to the Competent Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt of public funds is undertaken, and the Competent Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Kerala.
