OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 8 to the State Government within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
