STANDING ORDER

To

All Waqf Officers,

Subject: The occupation of waqf property by tenants of waqf property under the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 (Andhra Pradesh Act 30 of 1987), the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the occupation of waqf property by tenants of waqf property.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant of waqf property carrying on the occupation of waqf property shall make an application in Form B to the Board within three hundred and sixty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Waqf Officer shall ensure that scheme is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board within three hundred and sixty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
