OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The operation of a lift irrigation scheme by owners of a lift irrigation scheme under the Andhra Pradesh Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the operation of a lift irrigation scheme by owners of a lift irrigation scheme is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a lift irrigation scheme carrying on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall make an application in Form F to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a lift irrigation scheme is undertaken, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
