OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The writing of petitions for reward by petition writers under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Tourism Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the writing of petitions for reward by petition writers is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every petition writer carrying on the writing of petitions for reward shall make an application in Form E to the Registrar General within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the writing of petitions for reward is undertaken, and the Registrar General shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
