OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Telangana on the manner in which the holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land is to be regulated under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020.

2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Land Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of allotted surplus land is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Telangana.
