STANDING ORDER

All Ward Officers,

Subject: The occupation of premises by occupiers under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the occupation of premises by occupiers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupier carrying on the occupation of premises shall make an application in Form F to the Director of Municipal Administration within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Ward Officer shall ensure that building plan is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Municipal Administration within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
