OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The operation of a ferry by operators of a ferry under the Delhi Jal Board Act, 1998, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the operation of a ferry by operators of a ferry is to be regulated under the Delhi Jal Board Act, 1998.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall make an application in Form B to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a ferry is undertaken, and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
