OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The management of a public sector undertaking by public sector undertakings under the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the management of a public sector undertaking by public sector undertakings is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998.

2. The matter has been examined. Every public sector undertaking carrying on the management of a public sector undertaking shall make an application in Form GFR 21 to the Government of Tamil Nadu within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a public sector undertaking is undertaken, and the Government of Tamil Nadu shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
