STANDING ORDER

All Export Inspectors,

Subject: The export of services by exporters of services under the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005 (Tamil Nadu Act 18 of 2005), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the export of services by exporters of services.

2. The matter has been examined. Every exporter of services carrying on the export of services shall make an application in Form ANF-1 to the Authorised Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Export Inspector shall ensure that shipping bill is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Authorised Officer within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
