STANDING ORDER
To
All Cantonment Executive Officers,
Subject: The supply of stores by contractors supplying stores to the Force under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crimes Act, 2002, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Control of Organised Crimes Act, 2002 (Karnataka Act 1 of 2002), the Home Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the supply of stores by contractors supplying stores to the Force.
2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor supplying stores to the Force carrying on the supply of stores shall make an application in Form B to the Defence Estates Officer within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. The Cantonment Executive Officer shall ensure that stores is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Defence Estates Officer within fourteen days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Karnataka.
