STANDING ORDER
To
All Seed Inspectors,
Subject: The culture of fish by fish farmers under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969 (Kerala Act 21 of 1969), the Law Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the culture of fish by fish farmers.
2. The matter has been examined. Every fish farmer carrying on the culture of fish shall make an application in Form F to the Board within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. The Seed Inspector shall ensure that seed is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board within forty-five days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Kerala.
