OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The working of a winery by licensees of a winery under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Energy Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the working of a winery by licensees of a winery is to be regulated under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a winery carrying on the working of a winery shall make an application in Form D to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a winery is undertaken, and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
