OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Participation in competitions by athletes under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Telangana on the manner in which participation in competitions by athletes is to be regulated under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974.

2. The matter has been examined. Every athlete carrying on participation in competitions shall make an application in Form F to the State Sports Council within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which participation in competitions is undertaken, and the State Sports Council shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Telangana.
