STANDING ORDER

All Child Development Project Officers,

Subject: The running of a creche by creches under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988 (Andhra Pradesh Act 10 of 1988), the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a creche by creches.

2. The matter has been examined. Every creche carrying on the running of a creche shall make an application in Form III to the State Commission for Women within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Child Development Project Officer shall ensure that report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Commission for Women within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
