STANDING ORDER

To

All Rent Controllers,

Subject: The management of property on behalf of an owner by property managers under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the management of property on behalf of an owner by property managers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every property manager carrying on the management of property on behalf of an owner shall make an application in Form H to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Rent Controller shall ensure that register of projects is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
