OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The provision of consultancy services to the Government by empanelled consultants under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat on the manner in which the provision of consultancy services to the Government by empanelled consultants is to be regulated under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999.

2. The matter has been examined. Every empanelled consultant carrying on the provision of consultancy services to the Government shall make an application in Form GFR 21 to the Public Accounts Committee within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the provision of consultancy services to the Government is undertaken, and the Public Accounts Committee shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat.
