OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The business of a commission agent in a market by commissions agent in a market under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Education Department, Government of Punjab on the manner in which the business of a commission agent in a market by commissions agent in a market is to be regulated under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961.

2. The matter has been examined. Every commission agent in a market carrying on the business of a commission agent in a market shall make an application in Form D to the Insecticides Board within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a commission agent in a market is undertaken, and the Insecticides Board shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Punjab.
