OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The manufacture of insecticides by manufacturers of insecticides under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Agriculture Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the manufacture of insecticides by manufacturers of insecticides is to be regulated under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer of insecticides carrying on the manufacture of insecticides shall make an application in Form B to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of insecticides is undertaken, and the Registrar of Co-operative Societies shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Kerala.
