STANDING ORDER
To
All Sheristadars,
Subject: The examination of documents as an expert by handwriting experts under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954 (Uttar Pradesh Act 24 of 1954), the Law Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the examination of documents as an expert by handwriting experts.
2. The matter has been examined. Every handwriting expert carrying on the examination of documents as an expert shall make an application in Form C to the Bar Council within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. The Sheristadar shall ensure that record is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Bar Council within seven days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
