OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The teaching in a recognised school by teachers under the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Act, 1976, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the teaching in a recognised school by teachers is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Act, 1976.

2. The matter has been examined. Every teacher carrying on the teaching in a recognised school shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Tamil Nadu within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the teaching in a recognised school is undertaken, and the Government of Tamil Nadu shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
