OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The receipt and payment of Government moneys by treasuries under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Gujarat on the manner in which the receipt and payment of Government moneys by treasuries is to be regulated under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999.

2. The matter has been examined. Every treasury carrying on the receipt and payment of Government moneys shall make an application in Form GFR 12-A to the Finance Commission within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt and payment of Government moneys is undertaken, and the Finance Commission shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Gujarat.
