STANDING ORDER

To

All Estate Officers,

Subject: The construction of a group housing scheme by builders of a group housing scheme under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the construction of a group housing scheme by builders of a group housing scheme.

2. The matter has been examined. Every builder of a group housing scheme carrying on the construction of a group housing scheme shall make an application in Form B to the Appellate Tribunal within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. The Estate Officer shall ensure that occupancy certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Appellate Tribunal within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
