OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The manufacture of excisable articles by manufacturers under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh on the manner in which the manufacture of excisable articles by manufacturers is to be regulated under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles shall make an application in Form F to the Excise Appellate Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of excisable articles is undertaken, and the Excise Appellate Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
