OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The submission of accounts for audit by auditees under the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements Act, 1999, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the submission of accounts for audit by auditees is to be regulated under the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements Act, 1999.

2. The matter has been examined. Every auditee carrying on the submission of accounts for audit shall make an application in Form GFR 12-C to the Procurement Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the submission of accounts for audit is undertaken, and the Procurement Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
