OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of land in excess of the ceiling by holders of land in excess of the ceiling under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the holding of land in excess of the ceiling by holders of land in excess of the ceiling is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall make an application in Form 3 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land in excess of the ceiling is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
