STANDING ORDER

To

All Circle Officers,

Subject: The cultivation of land as a sharecropper by sharecroppers under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Women and Child Development Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the cultivation of land as a sharecropper by sharecroppers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall make an application in Form 7 to the Tahsildar within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. The Circle Officer shall ensure that map is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Tahsildar within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
