STANDING ORDER

To

All Inspectors of Endowments,

Subject: The management of a gurdwara by committees of a gurdwara under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the management of a gurdwara by committees of a gurdwara.

2. The matter has been examined. Every committee of a gurdwara carrying on the management of a gurdwara shall make an application in Form C to the Registrar of Societies within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Inspector of Endowments shall ensure that budget is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Societies within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
