STANDING ORDER

To

All Executive Officers,

Subject: The conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the General Administration Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall make an application in Form H to the Government of Madhya Pradesh within three hundred and sixty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Executive Officer shall ensure that register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Madhya Pradesh within three hundred and sixty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
