STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistant Press Registrars,

Subject: The operation of a teleport by operators of a teleport under the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Act, 1984, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Act, 1984 (Tamil Nadu Act 7 of 1984), the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a teleport by operators of a teleport.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a teleport carrying on the operation of a teleport shall make an application in Form VI to the Board of Film Certification within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Assistant Press Registrar shall ensure that declaration is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Film Certification within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
