STANDING ORDER

To

All Inspecting Officers,

Subject: The distribution of films by distributors of films under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 (Andhra Pradesh Act 4 of 1955), the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the distribution of films by distributors of films.

2. The matter has been examined. Every distributor of films carrying on the distribution of films shall make an application in Form V to the Registering Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Inspecting Officer shall ensure that certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registering Authority within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
