STANDING ORDER

To

All Housing Commissioners,

Subject: The sub-letting of premises by sub-tenants under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the Housing Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sub-letting of premises by sub-tenants.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sub-tenant carrying on the sub-letting of premises shall make an application in Form B to the Adjudicating Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. The Housing Commissioner shall ensure that agreement for sale is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Adjudicating Officer within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
