OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation under the Kerala Fire Force Act, 1962, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation is to be regulated under the Kerala Fire Force Act, 1962.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a hazardous installation carrying on the operation of a hazardous installation shall make an application in Form A to the Director of Fire Services within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a hazardous installation is undertaken, and the Director of Fire Services shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Kerala.
