OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The retail vend of liquor by retail vendors under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the retail vend of liquor by retail vendors is to be regulated under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009.

2. The matter has been examined. Every retail vendor carrying on the retail vend of liquor shall make an application in Form F to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the retail vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
