STANDING ORDER
To
All Forest Guards,
Subject: The working of a brick kiln by owners of a brick kiln under the Karnataka Forest Act, 1964, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Forest Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act 5 of 1964), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the working of a brick kiln by owners of a brick kiln.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a brick kiln carrying on the working of a brick kiln shall make an application in Form VI to the Chief Wild Life Warden within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.
3. The Forest Guard shall ensure that waste manifest is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Chief Wild Life Warden within fifteen days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka.
