STANDING ORDER

To

All Extension Officers,

Subject: The working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (Rajasthan Act 13 of 1994), the Revenue Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a brick kiln in a village carrying on the working of a brick kiln in a village shall make an application in Form 2 to the Block Development Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Extension Officer shall ensure that building is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Block Development Officer within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Rajasthan.
